Samarpita Mukherjee Sharma. Practical, yet a romantic — thrives on the smell and sound of paper binded together into fiction. Her dream career still being that of a bartender and an author, she currently writes and edits to make money and spin stories for the little ones to make herself happy. With a Masters in Economics as well as Mass Media, she hopes to successfully use her knowledge and expertize to help change makers reach out to the rest of the world. Monika Talreja Khanna completed her Post Graduation in English Literature to fulfill her father’s dream to be “Well Educated” and pursued her own to be a part of the glamorous “Fashion Industry”. Nupur Sachdeva is a post graduate in English Literature and a graduate in Mass Communication and Journalism. Having worked as a news coordinator for Thomson Reuters and currently working with schools in India at the British Council, one thing has been common – constant learning! She aspires to work for UNICEF where she can lend a helping hand to the children who dream of going to school, and not work at tea stalls or stroll on roads. Mariah Qasrani. Passionate about the world, driven to working to bring about positive change and making the world a better place (especially for mother earth!), Mariah is very easygoing, friendly and  loves music/entertainment (especially Asian), travelling, photography, writing and reading. Work experience ranges from working as a volunteer with UNDP to now being a part of YL. Currently doing her bachelors, but already planning the next step ahead in Masters. Myriam Chilvers When she was just two years old, her parents packed up their small cosy farm on the South West coast of England and moved her grandfather, her and their four hundred sheep across the Channel to a much warmer France.She became quickly aware however that the world was not confined to their peaceful farm, and at 18 she packed her bags and travelled through the USA and Kenya for a few months before settling down to complete her bachelor degree in Political Science in Montreal, Canada. Since then, she has journeyed from the high altitudes of the Himalayan plateau to the dry rocky desert surrounding the Dead Sea in Palestine, attempting to meet, along the way, as many people as possible. Payal Bhatnagar is a freelance writer who is passionate about making a positive impact in the society through her work. Ritika Verma is journalist writer into anything that’s adventurous and creative. A 24-yr-old, she is a creative enthusiast who’d be there where the positive energy is.  Dance is her form of expression. Sonia Vaillant is a learner. She went to the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada for four years and while she loved every moment, she thinks she may have learned more from traveling as a child. She believes in being barefoot as much as possible, laughing loudly, climbing trees to get a new perspective, and that love and cooking should be approached with reckless abandon. Her favourite smell is campfire smoke and she gives really good high fives if you laugh at her jokes. She looks forward to traveling the world and learning more than she ever imagined possible. Anna Priddy is currently in high school. Her dream is to become a doctor, but for now, she is focusing on the present. Anna has lived in Germany her entire life — even though she is completely American!   Running, both cross-country and on the track, is her passion. She loves to explore new cultures, learn about new things, and make new friends. Claudia Fiedler considers herself a global citizen though what her passport says is not important.  She has been living, traveling and working in Asia for almost 5 years and likes it here very much.  Last year, Claudia got to travel and volunteer throughout South East Asia, finishing with a one month stint in Singapore where she was a language volunteer for the Singapore Youth Olympics. She loves the outdoors and any kind of physical activity or sport, especially running, mountain biking, trekking and kayaking.  Claudia’s ideal career would be one where she works for six month and travels and volunteers the other six months of the year.

AMNA YOUSIF HAMID is a final year student doing her major in languages.She has volunteered in some local organizations like mojadidon  and the Qatari associations for diabetics.She considers volunteering, not on a chance to  promote an improved human quality of life, but also for skill development, meeting  others, and having fun. ANGELA ZHANG is a full-time undergraduate student in the University of Toronto, Canada. She is doing a Bachelor of Arts and a major in Political Science. JUMA SWALEH is a student pursuing a degree in information communication technology (I.C.T) in Kenya, having volunteerd with his university association in helping the disadvantaged in society, he is also a member of the Angazia youth group which aims to assist the orphans, among other things. He is also  a part of the university Muslim students magazine (The Enlightenment) writing committee. OLGA MUN is a fourth year undegraduate student in Political Science and International Relations. She was born and raised in Kazakhstan, though she ethnically is Korean and Russian. Olga speaks several languages, among them: Kazakh, Russian, English and German. She has studied Korean at Seoul National University, South Korea and is currently studying French.  She has volunteered in Turkey and participated in different international conferences both in Asia and Europe. Recently, Olga received a prestigious N.Nazarbayev Presidential stipend for active involvement in social life of Kazakhstani youth community.
